We are witnessing a turn in our industry where we see more and more people questioning the need for a real estate agent, at a time when so much information is readily available on the Internet, and Zillow gives you lots of information about properties all over the USA.

Does that mean that a Real Estate Agent is now useless??

We currently have in Miami Dade County around 70,000 real estate agents. You need just 63 hours of classes to pass your license, which is basically 7 days with 9 hours per day. Compare that to the 2,000 hours of classes needed to be a hairdresser.

So out of all these agents I will have to agree that many of them are not up to the task. And it is a real problem since they have to assist you with what is often the most important investment of your life.
